The 20th International Meeting of Balloonists held in Velikiye Luki set a record in terms of the number of participants: 43 Russian and foreign pilots are competing for the awards this year. The festival has already held spectacular competitions on hitting a target, a basket set in the middle of the river, with a weighted marker. This year, these competitions were won by three pilots, Rimas and Rokas Kostiuškevičius from Lithuania and Andrey Chizhov from Russia.
The Technodinamika team was represented by Alexander Nikolaev, President of the Ballooning Federation of the Republic of Crimea, Chief Trainer of the selection team of the Republic of Crimea, and Denis Volodin, participant in the World and European Championships, World Air Games, prize winner at the European Cup. Denis Volodin is one of the top 100 Pilots in the World and has more than 2,000 hours of flight experience in hot air balloons. The aim of Technodinamika was to support the Crimean enterprise and ensure its participation in the competition. At the press conference at the opening of the championship, Alexander Nikolaev thanked Technodinamika for the opportunity to take part in the International Meeting of Balloonists in Velikiye Luki.  
The competition will continue until July 11, and the final events, meetings and awards ceremony will be held on June 12, the Day of Russia. The festival will include the Ballooning Championship Cup of Russia, as well as the International Friendship Cup, and the best pilots will compete for the cups of the city of Velikiye Luki and Princess Olga.
