The TD-801 is designed for almost all types of medium-class helicopters, in particular for Russian helicopters produced by the company Russian Helicopters. The product will be certified under the standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) with subsequent certificate validation in the Aviation Register of Interstate Aviation Committee (AR IAC). Completion of product certification testing is scheduled for 2018.
As part of the international cooperation, the parties have agreed to divide the production of APU components both for the first customer of Russian Helicopters and for international programs.
