It will test the oxygen system and fire protection system for the MC-21, as well as other enterprise products, which need to satisfy vibration and impact resistance requirements.
The Respirator Enterprise (Orekhovo-Zuyevo) of Technodinamika Holding has opened a specialized laboratory for vibration and impact tests within its complex test and research laboratory. In the laboratory they will test potential and existing products manufactured by the enterprise, including the oxygen system and fire protection system for advanced aircraft MC-21.
New premises were allocated at the enterprise for the vibration testing laboratory, and the equipment was repaired and installed. Commissioning work has been fully completed.
“Now this division is fully provided with test equipment in compliance with the general technical requirements of the customer and GOSTs," said Maxim Kuzyuk, the Head of Technodinamika Holding. "The process of upgrading the enterprise laboratory never stops, and we are continually filling it with new test setups and test chambers.” He added that the laboratory was established using the enterprise’s own funds.

The Complex Test and Research Laboratory of Technodinamika Respirator enterprise makes it possible to carry out unique research activities and test the products under any conditions. The Complex Test and Research Laboratory contains environmental chambers for holding altitude tests at temperatures from minus 70 to plus 120˚C and ambient pressure variation up to 1 mm Hg, as well as climatic chambers for holding tests at ambient temperatures from minus 70 to plus 170˚C. In addition, the laboratory will make it possible to vary humidity up to 98% and it is equipped with a unique air lock chamber for testing equipment serviceability in case of sudden cabin decompression.
