The Holding has initiated the opening of the first training educational program for system engineers in Russia which meets these standards, based at the Higher School of Systems Engineering MIPT. The Masters program is aimed at promising young specialists with 3-7 years of working experience both in the aviation and other sectors of the industry. All graduate theses from the first class of graduates were practice-oriented and their implementation has provided an economic effect incomparable with the cost of education. The introduction of the software in the Technodinamika enterprises where the graduates work shall generate synergy savings of over 40 mln rubles for the Holding annually.
"Today, a high-level engineer should not just be a technical specialist but also a professional capable of managing contemporary hi-tech developments, leading people, creating teams, forecasting and assessing economic impact," noted Maxim Kuzyuk. "Under market conditions nobody needs an invention whose investments are not justified, that is why an engineer must possess management, economic, and leadership skills."
He added that teaching such skills required using new approaches to engineer education. In particular, it is necessary to teach employees to see the entire project picture and immediately put the received knowledge to use.
"The professional experience of the program participants is necessary to teach practical skills of system engineering, our students learn from each other and not just from instructors," said Maxim Kuzyuk. "Besides, already experienced specialists generate a practical attitude to the gained knowledge, an understanding of their possible application in their enterprise."
The Higher School of Systems Engineering program teaches how to correctly organize work, starting from teamwork skills, principles of communication to proficiency in organizing parallel engineering, use of life cycle management tools and approaches. In addition each student attends a course of marketing and strategy, economics and finance, innovations, and English language.
Technodinamika Holding offers design, engineering, manufacturing, and after-sales services of aircraft systems and components.
