However, today, it is important that the specialists are not only talented technicians, but can also understand and analyze the entire cycle — from designing the component to its installation on the aircraft.

The diploma theses prepared by the students of the Higher School of System Engineering vary from strategic initiatives on the development of enterprises to design and implementation of new products and technology in manufacturing. The graduates proposed to implement new units for DC power generation systems, a program for upgrading three-phase static inverters, new ways for manufacturing Blisks, a new generation of engine monitoring and control units. The students also presented a number of new methods for designing aircraft products.
The Higher School of System Engineering of MIPT offers a Master's Degree program "Applied System Engineering" and issues its graduates with a Master's Diploma from MIPT for the course 222300 "Knowledge-Intensive Technology and Economics of Innovation." The main principle underlying all the training courses is a combination of technical courses taught in MIPT with design work under the supervision of leading experts from major technology companies. A unique feature of the program is the system of master classes taught by leading experts from Russian and international companies and study courses at the world's leading universities, as well as visits to cutting-edge foreign companies, leading manufacturers, engineering companies specializing in the design of new products, which are capable of addressing complex and non-standard tasks. The training format makes it possible to combine study and work, as students come to classes 7 times for a period from 9 to 18 training days. The period of study is two years.
