In 2015, Ufa Assembly Production Organization (UAPO), affiliated with Technodinamika Holding of Rostec State Corporation, will put 20 electric motors into production. These items are intended for various types of pump stations employed in such aviation systems as the fuel and air conditioning system used in military equipment.

Technodinamika has put these items into production under the Import Substitution Program, in accordance with a decree issued in March 2014. However, the Holding completed the preparation for the production at its own expense. According to representatives of the Holding, a number of design and R&D operations were required to commence production.

Recently UAPO has begun shipping the first types of electric motors to pump station manufacturers. The primary consumer of the new products is JSC Gidravlika Ufa Aggregate Enterprise, which is also a part of Technodinamika. The next stage will involve testing the items as components of pump stations and handing them over to the customer.

"This is yet another step towards implementing the strategy of establishing a center of expertise for the production of electric supply systems at UAPO," states Leonid Luzgin, CEO of UAPO. "Besides, putting the items into production for the sake of import substitution plays a key role for national security."
